Description

Join us for the 2018 Pursuing Victory with Honor Summit at the Drake University!

Lindsay Whorton, a three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference scholar selection, the 2008 MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and a 1st team Academic All-American, will speak about how focusing on character helps achieve success in athletics, academics and in life. Whorton is a graduate of Drake University where she played on the Women's Basketball team.

Attendees will participate in three breakout sessions to build leadership skills like teamwork, motivation and communication.

To allow many schools the opportunity to participate, please limit your group of students and adults to 30 or less.

A coaching session will be offered throughout the day. If you wish to attend one of these sessions, please bring a minimum of 2 adults so you can rotate attending the coaching session and always having a school representative with your students.

For more information, contact Hilary Ortmann at hilary.ortmann@drake.edu or 515-271-2915.
